Brazilian president demands Putin to go to Istanbul

Lula da Silva will stop in Moscow on his way back to Brazil after completing a regional forum in China, Ukrainska Pravda reported.

"I will try to talk to Putin. It costs me nothing to say, ‘Hey, comrade Putin, go to Istanbul and negotiate, damn it,’" he said.

The talks, scheduled for May 15 in Istanbul, could be the first direct talks between Kiev and Moscow since 2022.
