The commander of the Ukrainian military unit that attacked the Druzhba oil pipeline has been banned from entering Hungary and the Schengen area for the next few years.

"Anyone who attacks our energy security or our sovereignty must expect consequences. This case is no exception. Therefore, we are banning the commander of the Ukrainian military unit that carried out this extremely serious attack on the Druzhba oil pipeline from entering Hungary and the Schengen area," said Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó.

On August 24, Robert “Magyar” Brovdi, commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Unmanned Systems Forces, reported strikes on Russian oil refineries and the Druzhba oil pipeline. This information was subsequently confirmed by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
