Trump's birthday: tanks will drive through Washington, DC

The various branches of the U.S. military are proud of their history and celebrate anniversaries, called birthdays, across the United States and at bases around the world, Reuters reported.

The U.S. Army has long planned to move troops and equipment to Washington's National Mall on June 14 as part of its anniversary celebration. Now plans also include a parade, as the day coincides with Trump's 79th birthday.

The final cost of this could be as much as $45 million dollars.

That amount includes several million dollars more than it would be without the parade.

The Army plans to send about two dozen M1 Abrams tanks to the celebration.

Officials' latest estimates do not include costs the city of Washington will have to incur, such as cleaning up trash or repairing roads damaged by the heavy tanks.

More than 6,500 military personnel, about 150 vehicles and 50 aircraft are scheduled to arrive in Washington.
