Trump wants to buy Greenland's inhabitants

Trump held talks with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. Then it became known about the cancellation of US tariffs for a number of European countries and new plans regarding Greenland, the Daily Mail reports.

Trump is considering offering the inhabitants of Greenland (population 57,000) $1 million each — £750,000 or €850,000 — if they vote to join the US.

NATO officers discussed an agreement under which Denmark would cede small areas of Greenland to the US, where it could build military bases.

Trump said it was the most long-term agreement. When asked for how long, he replied: “Forever. There is no time limit. This agreement is forever.”
