US wants close cooperation with 'model' Poland

The US and Poland have a strong and enduring partnership that is based on a mutual commitment to security, prosperity and the rule of law.

Poland is an exemplary ally and a key player in strengthening NATO and protecting its sovereign integrity against the challenges of the present and future.

“Our cooperation in the energy sector - particularly in nuclear energy - supports growing commercial ties and contributes to Poland's energy security. We look forward to working closely with President-elect Nawrocki and the Polish government to further advance our shared priorities,” the US State Department said in a statement.
