US to deactivate all Trump tariff codes

The US Customs and Border Protection agency said that starting Tuesday, it will deactivate all tariff codes related to Trump's previous orders on tariffs based on the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA).

This became possible after the US Supreme Court ruled on February 20 that President Donald Trump's sweeping global tariffs were illegal.

The official end of these tariffs coincides with the introduction of a new 15% global tariff based on another legal act. Trump announced this decision after the Supreme Court ruling.
