US reminds Russian Federation that the time for misinterpretations has passed

"He was patient, and that was probably misinterpreted by some people. So I think the time for misinterpretations has passed," U.S. State Department spokeswoman Temmy Bruce said.

Bruce recalled that Trump talked about imposing sanctions as well as secondary sanctions because some countries benefit from buying Russian oil, Ukrinform reported.

She noted that the President has the authority to impose such restrictions and that decision is up to him.

"Obviously, President Trump has proven that he should be taken seriously because he is a serious person, and we see the results of that around the world," she said.
