Trump read the US Constitution

Trump noted that he has the best numbers any president has had in many years, but the US Constitution clearly states that he cannot run for a third term, The Hill reports.

“If you read it, it's very clear. I can't run. That's too bad... But we have a lot of great people,” the president said.

The 22nd Amendment to the Constitution states that no person shall be elected president of the United States for more than two terms.
