Iran is calling on Yemen’s Houthis to launch a new campaign of attacks on ships in the Red Sea if the U.S. proceeds with further escalation of the war against the country.

Iran has sent a letter to member states of the International Maritime Organization stating that non-hostile vessels may transit the Strait of Hormuz, but only on condition that they coordinate with Iranian authorities.
