Italy proposes a truce in all wars

"We must be world champions. We support the American plan for Gaza and, as Pope Leo said, we must never lose hope for peace. Rome and Italy are increasingly becoming a crossroads of peace, development, and growth. In the context of the Milan-Cortina Olympic Games, we are submitting a proposal to the United Nations for an Olympic truce in all wars, particularly in Ukraine and the Middle East," said Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani, according to ANSA.

The Winter Olympic Games will be held from February 6 to 26 in the Italian cities of Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo.
