Israel has agreed to terms for 60-day ceasefire

US President Donald Trump expressed hope that Hamas would also accept the agreement.

"My representatives had a long and productive meeting with the Israelis about Gaza. Israel agreed to the necessary conditions for a 60-day ceasefire, during which we will work with all sides to end the war. The Qataris and the Egyptians, who have worked hard for peace, will convey this final offer. I hope that for the good of the Middle East Hamas will accept this agreement, because the situation will not improve - it will only worsen," he said.
