Cooperation to strengthen defense: Head of the Assault Units Directorate Valentyn Manko spoke about the visit of the Australian Major General

The visit was held with the aim of exchanging experience and establishing close cooperation between Ukrainian assault troops and Australian partners.

As reported by Valentyn Manko, Major General Mick Ryan is not only a military man, but also a true friend of Ukraine and an active supporter of strengthening international defense assistance to our country.

During the meeting at the command post, the parties focused on key issues:

- Transformation of the army: Discussion of ways to modernize and adapt Ukrainian military structures to modern challenges.

- Experience of assault units: General Manko shared his experience of creating, training and successfully using assault units in combat conditions.

- Infrastructure review: The delegation inspected the training ground and management workflows.

Australian Major General Mick Ryan, highly appreciating the professionalism and significant results demonstrated by the Ukrainian assault forces, confirmed his intention to transfer the invaluable combat experience accumulated by the Ukrainian side for thorough study by the Australian side.

Following the meeting, a number of important agreements were reached that will strengthen cooperation:

- Further active exchange of knowledge and military experience.

- Joint educational initiatives and trainings.

- Providing comprehensive support from partners from Australia.

This visit is an important step in the development of international military cooperation and strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities through the support of reliable partners.
