CIA drones attacked port facilities on the coast of Venezuela

This is the first known US attack on a facility in that country.

According to CNN sources, the drone strike targeted a remote dock on the Venezuelan coast, which US authorities believe was used by the Venezuelan group Tren de Aragua to store drugs and transport them to boats for further shipment.

No one was at the facility at the time of the strike, so there were no casualties.

The operation was conducted with intelligence support from US special operations forces, underscoring their continued presence in the region.
