Poland has opened the largest training center for Ukrainian military personnel (Camp Jomsborg), which can accommodate up to 1,200 military personnel at a time.
"The training center, created with the support of European partners, in particular Norway, will provide training for the Defense Forces and strengthen the exchange of combat experience between the Armed Forces of Ukraine and NATO. Here we will be able to share with our partners, among other things, our experience in the use of and countering drones," said Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Yevhen Moysyuk.
The decision to establish the training center was made in May 2025. Its grand opening took place on October 1.

The training center is located at one of Poland's land forces training grounds.
"It is part of NATO's support for Ukraine and creates a basis for further cooperation in the development of defense capabilities. There are already 250 Norwegian instructors here. It is expected that they will soon be joined by military personnel from Estonia and other Alliance countries," the Ministry of Defense reports.
