United States and Iran signed a memorandum of understanding to end the war remotely

US President Donald Trump personally signed a copy of the agreement during a dinner with the French President at the Palace of Versailles. A photo of the signed agreement was sent to the Iranian side and the mediating countries, CNN reports.

The memorandum of understanding contains clear commitments by both parties to hold additional negotiations within the next 60 days. During this time, Washington and Tehran must reach a final agreement on resolving the conflict.

"It's signed. Signed at Versailles. I just signed it," Trump confirmed.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei confirmed the signing and emphasized that the memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States has been officially finalized.

Trump once again threatened to resume attacks if Iran fails to fulfill its obligations.
