Ukraine to receive $400 million for air defense and Patriot missiles

Germany will allocate funds for the necessary ammunition for air defense systems, according to European Pravda.

"This is how we literally save lives every night and every day. This time, we are allocating $200 million," said German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius.

Germany will support the Jumpstart program, which provides for the purchase of missiles for Patriot systems.

"This provides for the purchase of guided missiles for Patriot systems. We also agreed to contribute $200 million for the purchase of PAC-3 guided missiles. So, we are moving forward," he said.

Berlin calls on other members of the Contact Group to participate in funding the purchase of PAC-3 missiles to strengthen Ukraine's air defense.
