Trump views his idea of ​​distributing $5,000 each as an excellent financial injection

Trump stated that Congress would not need to approve these payments funds which, according to him, should be spent within the U.S. rather than in other countries, CBS News reports.

"Well, we don't think so. I think they would do it if we needed it. But we don't think so. The country is prospering; we’ve received trillions of dollars from tariffs and other sources. Right now, over $20 trillion is being invested in U.S. manufacturing facilities and other projects far more than ever before. And we think this would be beneficial.
