Trump glad Iran released american woman

"Iran has allowed a US citizen, unjustly detained in December 2024 during the presidency of sleepy Joe Biden, to leave the country. She is now safe outside of Iran and in good condition. The US appreciates this gesture of goodwill from Iran!" Trump said.

"I am pleased and happy to announce that my client, US citizen Dena Karari, who has been held captive in Iran since December 2024 on trumped-up charges, is now free," wrote international human rights lawyer Jared Genser.

He thanked Trump and noted that his client is now safe and returning to the US.
