The Gaza agreement may be the greatest achievement of my life, says Trump

According to Trump, his proposed peace plan should end the war, which, according to the Hamas-controlled Gaza Ministry of Health, has claimed the lives of more than 67,000 Palestinians, Axios reports.

On Monday morning, Trump will address the Israeli parliament, the Knesset, and meet with the families of hostages and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. When asked about his message to the Israeli people, Trump replied simply: “Love and peace forever.”

Trump said he watched Saturday's rally in support of the hostages in Tel Aviv, which was attended by his daughter Ivanka Trump, son-in-law Jared Kushner, and special envoy Steve Whitcoff. He described the rally as incredible, noting that everyone was thrilled.

Trump does not know why Prime Minister Netanyahu will not be attending the international summit in Sharm el-Sheikh, which will take place on the same day in Egypt and is dedicated to agreeing on peace in the Gaza Strip. He noted that the list of invitees was compiled by the Egyptian organizers.

He considers it positive that Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas will attend the conference.

Trump noted that the number of participating countries shows that the world has united around his plan.

Trump said he would not have been able to reach an agreement on Gaza if he had not ordered strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities in June. According to him, this weakened Hamas' Iranian patrons, making the terrorist group more willing to compromise. According to Trump, the removal of the “black cloud” of Iran's nuclear program allowed Arab and Muslim countries to unite to reach an agreement on Gaza.
