Italy and Poland want to participate in peace talks

He expressed the view that Kyiv should involve more than just the "European trio" in the negotiations, ANSA reports.

"Europe can do a great deal, but I believe Zelenskyy should look beyond individual European states and engage all EU countries. Initiatives by small groups are not needed. I offer this advice as a friend of Ukraine: it would be wise to involve not only France and Germany but also Italy and Poland," he noted.
