Germany has refused to participate in the "Coalition of the Resolute" exercises

Small staff exercises will be held without Germany's participation, dpa reports.

The coalition, which includes approximately 35 countries supporting Kyiv, agreed at a meeting in Paris on Monday to hold the first exercises of the multinational force to support Ukraine.

These exercises are being created to support Ukraine in the event of a ceasefire with Russia.

Staff exercises primarily involve command staff practicing decision-making processes or troop movements, typically without deploying military equipment or soldiers to the field.
