Armenian Elections: Pashinyan's party wins

After counting votes from 1,924 of the 2,005 polling stations, Pashinyan's party has secured 50.07% of the vote and 64 of the 105 parliamentary seats, Radio Liberty reports.

"Strong Armenia" took second place with 23.35% of the vote and 29 seats. The "Armenia" bloc finished third, securing 9.86% of the vote and 12 seats in parliament.

Election turnout was 58.97%, with nearly 1.4 million citizens out of more than 2.5 million registered voters participating.

Pashinyan declared a historic victory that will undoubtedly ensure Armenia's eternity and development.
