A scandal is brewing in Poland over the transfer of Patriot missiles to Ukraine

He expressed outrage at critical comments from President Karol Nawrocki's inner circle and opposition parties, who criticized the government for transferring several air defense missiles to Ukraine, TVN24 reports.

The head of the Presidential International Policy Office, Marcin Przydacz, stated that Deputy Defense Minister Cezary Tomczyk played a key role in the decision to transfer the missiles.

"Is this betrayal or just stupidity?" he asked.

Kosiniak-Kamysz reminded the official that military aid to Ukraine is in Poland's national interests.

"I will defend this decision made by me and the government. I ask Minister Przydacz about this nonsense he's spouting – is it treason or stupidity? Yesterday, NATO declared that we must all support Ukraine. Ukraine's defeat in the war with Russia is the worst-case scenario for us. I prefer our Patriots to shoot down Russian missiles over Kyiv, not over Warsaw. Those who criticize Polish support for Ukraine are crazy. This drives me crazy," the minister fumed.
